We're a mom, dad & daughter team - two artists & an artisan. We concentrate on photography, artwork & design, creative writing, bladesmithing & crafts.
• Our Photography....We specialize in fine-art, nature & stock photography. Donna also specializes in animal companion, maternity/newborn, children, high school senior, engagement & trash the dress portraits.
• Our Artwork, Design & Creative Writing....Donna and Casandra concentrate on traditional & digital art, graphic art & design, creative writing (fiction, non-fiction & poetry); and, for our own benefit, web & blog design.
• Our Bladesmithing....Eric concentrates on bladesmithing (hand forged knives) and he's a skilled woodworker.
• Our Crafts....Each of us works within our own specialty creating custom crafts such as bird & bat houses, flower boxes, grape vine wreaths, decoupage art, polymer clay crafts, jewelry, decorative pillows, fretwork gifts, hand sewn gifts, handmade cards, repurposing vintage items and more.
Our artistic interests include: Photography, digital art, painting (pastel • oil • oil pastel • acrylic • watercolor), drawing/illustration (charcoal • pencil • ink), photo painting, graphic art & design, decoupage art, handcrafting jewelry, creative writing, culinary art (cooking & baking), interior decorating, floral & herbal crafts, renewing items, sewing, making crafts & gifts by hand, metal forging - bladesmithing • knifemaking, woodworking, hide tanning, natural crafts and more.
Our personal interests include: The outdoors, nature, herbs & natural remedies, Yoga, Spirituality, hiking, walking, biking, rafting, camping, the ocean, gardening, reading, movies, music, the paranormal, lounging with our felines, playing with our canines and more.
We decided to move from a unique & custom flash website (grrrr, after Donna worked on it for over a year :o) to this quite-ordinary BlogSite. Sometimes, less is more and simple is better. This BlogSite acts as a portal for us; as individuals and as a team. Explore & enjoy....and visit us often.
